At the CFPB, Wyatt works at the intersection of policy research and regulatory enforcement, with additional experience in civil litigation and financial analysis. His earlier roles at the Cook County Treasurer’s Office and the Office of Congressman Mike Quigley helped shape his analytical and investigative skills.
Wyatt began tutoring as a high school student and continued to do so throughout his time at the University of Chicago. While at the CFPB, Wyatt started volunteering as a tutor in the District of Columbia Jail, where he worked directly with young adults pursuing a high school diploma behind bars.
As an LSAT tutor, Wyatt recognizes that there are myriad ways to approach every issue, and no two people think quite alike. Instead of teaching a single optimal method to approach a question, Wyatt prefers to help students develop the unique pathways that work best for their brains. He is also a big believer in learning-by-doing and has found the most success with a study regimen that builds a student’s intuition by focusing more on test-like practice and somewhat less on drills and rote memorization.
Outside of tutoring, Wyatt enjoys thru-hiking in the U.S. and Europe and exploring new recipes in the kitchen.
