Roberto served as an Assistant District Attorney for Suffolk County before founding two successful law firms. He went on to serve in multiple judicial roles across the Boston Municipal Court system, ultimately being appointed Chief Justice. He simultaneously served as an adjunct professor at New England Law and has also taught or presented at Harvard Law School, Suffolk University, Northeastern University, and at legal education events in Mexico and China.
Roberto has mentored students at every academic level, offering guidance through internships, academic advising, and the admissions process. His dedication to mentorship and public service has been recognized through honors such as the Haskell Cohn Distinguished Judicial Service Award, an Honorary Doctor of Laws from New England Law, recognition from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), and awards from the ABA Law Student Division, the Massachusetts Commission on Judicial Conduct, and the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys.
Today, as a law school admissions consultant, Roberto brings this wealth of experience directly to applicants. His advising sessions are informal, conversational, and goal‑oriented, designed to help students clarify their aspirations, strengthen their applications, and confidently take the next steps toward law school. Drawing on decades of mentorship, teaching, and judicial leadership, he continues to empower aspiring lawyers to follow their dreams, overcome challenges, and enter law school prepared for success.
