Since then, she has been living in Nevada, where she tutors local and online students. Julia has also been working as a freelance copyeditor and writer, assisting scholars, industry leaders, authors, and organizations in refining and publishing their written works with independent and major outlets alike.

A fun fact about Julia is that she is the proud owner of a twenty-year-old black cat named Bean, who has a habit of attending virtual tutoring sessions.

While attending WashU, Jordan interned as a public defender for the Missouri State Public Defender Office and served as a summer associate at Morgan & Morgan, P.A., America’s largest injury law firm. Jordan currently works at Holland & Hart LLP, a large full-service law firm. 

Before law school, Jordan considered a career in teaching. While his career path changed, his passion for helping students remained strong. He has experience tutoring a wide range of subjects, including courses in American government, constitutional law, judicial process, microeconomics, macroeconomics, ethics, philosophy of law, political science, college composition and writing, English, and history.

As a tutor, Jordan excels at developing personalized study plans that cater to each student's unique needs. In his free time, Jordan builds model ships and travels. To date, he has visited over 20 countries!

Carlos empowers students with the strategies and mindset needed for success. He has tutored students in multiple pre-law courses, including those related to American government, constitutional law, judicial processes, ethics, philosophy of law, political science, and constitutional history, and assorted logic and critical thinking classes. 

Beyond tutoring, Carlos has a diverse legal background, including roles as a prosecutor, corporate counsel, legal officer, and chief legal officer across various organizations. After graduating with a JD, he attended the CUNY Graduate Center, earning a certificate in immigration law. Additionally, he has served as a managing partner at several firms and trained over 100 associate attorneys throughout his career. Carlos has worked extensively in education and, ultimately, served as a judge presiding over both criminal and civil cases. 

Drawing from his real-world legal experience, Carlos brings the energy and rigor of a law school classroom to every tutoring session. His distinct, scenario-based teaching style not only sharpens students’ critical thinking but also helps them connect abstract concepts to practical application. A fun fact about Carlos is that he is trilingual! He speaks English, Spanish, and French.

Ethan credits the perseverance and discipline he learned as President of the Miami University Climbing Club to his effectiveness in supporting students on their academic journeys. Ethan is passionate about imparting comprehensive knowledge of complex pre-law topics and exam strategies to aspiring law students. 

As a tutor, Ethan utilizes a multifaceted approach. His ability to identify individual strengths and weaknesses allows him to provide targeted guidance and personalized instruction, enabling students to optimize their performance and achieve their desired GPAs and exam scores. Ethan combines his extensive content knowledge with expertise in developing effective study plans, time management techniques, and test-taking strategies. He ensures students are equipped with the necessary tools to tackle pre-law classes with confidence and precision. 

Beyond his academic accomplishments, Ethan has excelled in outdoor sports. His remarkable achievements include securing second place in two different ultra-marathons within his age group, as well as climbing 5.13. These feats highlight his exceptional discipline, perseverance, and ability to push through challenges—a skill set that translates seamlessly into supporting students in their journey toward success.

A fun fact about Ethan is that he learned German and met the Vice President of the European Union while attending the University of Vienna. Outside of tutoring, Ethan is an avid traveler and is currently living in Spain. He plans to head to Thailand for rock climbing.

Gabriel’s professional background spans research, advocacy, and writing. He has served as a research assistant for Yale Law School faculty, contributed to scholarship in history and law, and produced a podcast series in partnership with The Nation magazine. He has also trained grassroots organizers at Clean Water Action and worked as a field organizer for the New Hampshire Democratic Coordinated Campaign, building skills in communication and leadership that he brings into his tutoring.

As a tutor, Gabriel emphasizes collaboration and structure. He helps students uncover persistent error patterns, develop strategies rooted in logical concepts, and build the confidence to tackle challenging pre-law coursework. His style is both supportive and rigorous, blending patience and encouragement with detail-oriented guidance. Gabriel is adept at supporting students through courses in government, political science, ethics, philosophy, writing and composition, history, and other pre-law courses.

Beyond tutoring, Gabriel enjoys biking, backpacking, and listening to podcasts.

Allison graduated with a Bachelor's in history and double minors in philosophy and theology. She received the Gold Key for History Award for having the highest GPA in her major and for her double thesis presentation. During her time at St. John’s, Allison was heavily involved in student life. She was a part of three active honor societies on campus and served as the Treasurer of the Philosophy Club. 

Although Allison received multiple law school acceptances, she chose to pursue her passion for teaching, earning a Master's in special education from Touro University. She now works in the New York City Public School System, supporting children and young adults, and has gained valuable experience working with diverse learning styles. 

Specializing in test preparation, Allison enjoys helping students ace exams to increase their GPAs and gain admission to their top law schools, with some even earning full-ride scholarships. Students she has tutored have been accepted to the New York University School of Law, New York Law School, St. John’s School of Law, and the Arizona State University College of Law, among others. 

Allison’s strengths as a tutor come from her extensive experience working with students of all ages and varying learning styles. Her comprehensive background in education equips her with the skills to tailor her teaching methods to meet each student's unique needs. She is adept at identifying individual learning strengths and weaknesses and adjusting her approach accordingly, ensuring that every student can grasp the test material effectively.

In her free time, Allison enjoys writing music and playing instruments. She plays the 12-string guitar, six-string guitar, piano, mandolin, banjo, and ukulele!
