While in law school, Rhonda was a member of the Braun National Trial Team and served on the North Carolina Law Review. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Rhonda began her legal career at an international law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. After five years in BigLaw, she launched her own law practice, focusing on family law, before transitioning to a role with the North Carolina Judicial Branch, where she continues to serve the public.
As a first-generation college and law school graduate, Rhonda deeply understands the challenges of navigating the admissions process without a clear roadmap. With over 20 years of mentoring experience, she has honed the ability to guide students with clarity, empathy, and strategic insight.
As a coach, Rhonda is approachable, goal-oriented, detail-focused, and a big-picture thinker. She creates a comfortable, encouraging environment for students while keeping them focused on their long-term goals and helping ensure every element of their application is thoughtfully crafted.
A fun fact about Rhonda is that she’s currently helping her teenage daughter through the college admissions process!
