Nadia brings over a decade of experience as a civil rights attorney, including as a Senior Trial Attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division . She began her career as an associate attorney at a civil rights firm before joining the DOJ, where she litigated complex employment discrimination cases and served on the selection committee for the DOJ Honors Program, a prestigious post-law school hiring initiative. She also acted as a DOJ Ambassador to Michigan Law, mentoring students interested in public service careers and representing the Department at career fairs. Her evaluation experience from the Honors Program informs the strategic, high-level support she provides to applicants.

Nadia knows firsthand that the law school admissions process can be overwhelming and loves serving as an informed and supportive advisor to students. As a coach, she guides applicants through each step of the process, breaking it down into manageable parts and creating reasonable timelines. She has significant experience managing complex, time-sensitive projects as an attorney and applies the same diligence and attention to detail when working with students on law school applications. In fact, her own law school personal statement was selected by the Michigan Law dean of admissions for inclusion in an internal publication showcasing exemplary application materials. Above all, she strives to be a reassuring and calming presence for students as they prepare for and apply to law school.

Outside of her professional life, Nadia enjoys playing tennis, reading novels, and exploring parks with her husband and their miniature dachshund.
