Jay brings over 25 years of experience across law, higher education, and executive leadership to his role as a law school admissions consultant. With a JD and LLM in Taxation from Capital University Law School and experience serving on the admissions committee for its graduate tax program, Jay has reviewed more than 150 applications.

Before attending law school, Jay graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Buffalo. He also studied at the Université Grenoble Alpes and the University of Rochester, developing proficiency in French and global political studies. As a counselor, Jay draws from decades of mentoring experience, helping law and graduate school students refine their academic narratives and pursue transformative opportunities. He currently serves as the Chief People, Business & Operations Officer of a premier Illinois higher education institution. His professional background includes senior HR and operational leadership roles at institutions like Youth Guidance, Lurie Children’s Hospital, and Adaptive Behavioral Services, where he led national initiatives in compliance, talent development, and strategic planning.
