Hanna began her higher education journey by earning a BA in philosophy from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She graduated summa cum laude with highest honors, placing in the top 1% of her class, and maintaining Dean’s List standing every semester. She was also a member of the University of Minnesota Parliamentary Debate Team.
In addition to her role as Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Affairs at UPenn, Hanna was also a member of the Penn Business Law Association and a member of the Executive Board for the Federalist Society. She also earned a Wharton Business School certificate in business management. Hanna also brings real-world insight from her clerkship in complex commercial litigation, along with roles such as Head of Operations at Canovate Global.
Hanna specializes in crafting compelling personal statements, conducting interview prep, and guiding JD applicants through each stage—from course planning and extracurricular strategy to school targeting—tailoring her coaching to each student’s unique style and goals. With nearly 10 years of tutoring and mentorship experience and recognition among the top 10% of tutors by a nationwide tutoring platform, she has a finely honed, adaptive coaching approach. Students she has coached have been accepted to law schools at Georgetown, Villanova, UMiami, and others.
Passionate about empowering applicants, Hanna thrives on helping each student articulate their strengths and fit for law school. She has worked with 500+ students and has achieved success with students of all ages, backgrounds, and stages of the process. Hanna’s flexibility and understanding of what each pre-law student needs allow her to tailor her approach and help them craft the best applications possible.
