Zachary Crain, a Private LSAT Tutor at Juris Education

Before attending Cornell Law School, Zachary earned a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Zachary scored a 176 on the LSAT and has a strong command of legal reasoning and critical thinking. He is passionate about guiding students through the LSAT prep process.

During college , Zachary was a Carolina Covenant Scholar and held several leadership roles at The Daily Tar Heel, including Sports Editor, Assistant Sports Editor, Summer Sports Editor, and Senior Writer. In these roles, he coached students on how to interview, write, edit, and more. He also gained professional journalism experience as a North Carolina Sports intern with the USA Today Network. 

After graduation, Zachary spent two years working in public relations for technology companies. He worked at LaunchSquad, where he was promoted from Account Coordinator to Account Associate. His legal experience also includes interning for a U.S. Circuit Court Judge, where he has developed skills in legal research, writing, and analysis.

As an LSAT tutor, Zachary’s strengths lie in individualized support, clear communication, and strategic goal-setting. He aims to get to know students one-on-one to understand their goals, learning style, strengths, and weaknesses in order to best prepare them to meet their goals.

A fun fact about Zachary is that he enjoys watching hockey, college sports, and reality TV.
