Zaarah Azad

At Duke, Zaarah balanced her academic achievements with her role as a private debate coach for Cary Academy, where she helped students develop critical reasoning and persuasive skills. She was also a member of Duke's Bharatanatyam dance team, Duke Planned Parenthood, and Duke Women's Pre-Law Society.

As an LSAT tutor, Zaarah emphasizes a practice-based, analytical approach. She is highly skilled at identifying students’ weaknesses, tailoring lessons to different learning styles, and transforming areas of difficulty into strengths. Students she works with appreciate her approachable style, structured guidance, and focus on measurable outcomes.

Outside of teaching, Zaarah enjoys baking, photography, and spending time with her three dachshunds, Riley, Scrappy, and Slinky.
