Summer graduated magna cum laude with a double major in philosophy and sociology from Chapman University. She graduated two years ahead of her peers and was admitted to the USC Gould School of Law on a substantial program-long scholarship at only 19, becoming the youngest student Gould has ever admitted.

Throughout her tenure at Gould, Summer balanced NCAA lacrosse, involvement in sorority life, and active participation in student government. Moreover, she served as a Post-Conviction Justice Project student attorney and distinguished herself as a Saks Institute Scholar. She now thrives as a labor and employment associate at an AmLaw 200 firm in San Diego.

Summer’s educational and professional experience, both in and out of the classroom, has allowed her to curate a passion for coaching, working on a team, and having a positive impact on others, including students. With years of mentoring experience under her belt, she is committed to sharing her expertise and insights into the intricacies of the law school application process with aspiring lawyers. Students Summer has coached have been accepted to top law schools such as Duke, Northwestern, UCLA, and Georgetown.

As a coach, Summer excels at collaborating with students from diverse backgrounds, skillfully highlighting their individual narratives, and effectively communicating them to law school admissions committees. Students she has worked with have received admission to Northwestern, USC Gould, and Duke, among other esteemed institutions.

In her free time, Summer plays ice hockey and lacrosse in amateur leagues in San Diego. She also loves spending time with her two cats, Sergio and Sage, and her two German shepherds, Chief and Rux!
