During his undergraduate years, Ryan served as a peer advisor, mentoring over 30 first-year students and leading new student orientation for 1,600+ incoming freshmen. He held leadership roles in the Student Government Association as an At-Large Senator and PR Vice Chair, and represented the Martin Luther King Scholarship Association as a Freshman Representative. He also competed on Seton Hall’s Mock Trial team, further developing his skills in advocacy and analytical reasoning. Ryan’s legal experience includes judicial and law firm internships, including with the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the firm Vazquez-Heldman. Ryan is also a member of the Seton Hall Law Review.
Ryan is passionate about educational equity and mentorship. His commitment to service is evident in his time with the International Rescue Committee, where he supported newly resettled refugees with employment and ESL access, and Clean Water Action, where he lobbied for environmental policy and trained others in public education models. These experiences shape his holistic and compassionate tutoring philosophy.
As an LSAT tutor, Ryan combines a structured and hands-on approach with flexible, student-centered guidance. His tutoring style emphasizes measurable progress, conceptual clarity, and confidence-building. Ryan also draws from his previous work with the TRIO Upward Bound Program, where he taught SAT prep, essay writing, and college readiness workshops for high school students.
