Lisa has a Bachelor's degree in history and political science from the University of Michigan and a JD from the University of Maryland Francis King Cary School of Law. She currently serves as an undergraduate admissions external reader at UC Berkeley. She has over 25 years of experience in LSAT tutoring, having developed and taught LSAT courses and trained numerous LSAT tutors.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Lisa's adventurous spirit led her to a law firm in London, followed by engaging work in NGOs in Switzerland, Thailand, and Washington, D.C. While working in the legal sector, she has also maintained a strong interest in education, developing LSAT courses for group instruction and 1:1 tutoring in Singapore and Taiwan.

Passionate about helping students succeed, Lisa uses effective strategies to assist students in mastering the LSAT. She believes in teaching students to develop consistent strategies for each question type and guiding them to train independently for the most significant improvement.

As a tutor, Lisa excels at helping students navigate every aspect of the LSAT, presenting complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand. Her extensive experience and expertise in the field make her a valuable resource for Juris students aiming to excel in their LSAT and achieve their law school aspirations.

Spending more than half her life in hot, tropical climates, Lisa is obsessively curious about the world's creepy crawlies – even after being bitten by a 3-meter-long Taiwan habu snake! Her favorites are the colorful male peacock spider (because of its nickname Sparklemuffin) and the long-horned orb weaver spider.
