Currently, Lauryn serves as an associate at King & Spalding, where she works at the intersection of law, business, and finance. Students she has coached have gained admission to law schools at NYU, George Washington, Northwestern, and Georgetown, among others.

Lauryn’s academic journey began at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated with a BA in Spanish with honors. She became trilingual in Spanish, French, and English while competing as a Division I rower. Lauryn's achievements as a gold medalist at the San Diego Crew Classic and silver medalist at the PAC-12 Championships highlight her exceptional discipline, commitment, and teamwork—qualities she carried into her legal career.

After graduating from college, Lauryn pursued a Master of Science in Law from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. Her thesis focused on the General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR) and its implications for the healthcare industries in the U.S. and European Union. Her academic research extended into professional practice during her time at Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale LLP, where she developed a written analysis of a federal regulation governing substance abuse patient confidentiality. Her work culminated in supporting a supervisor presentation to the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Lauryn’s outstanding contributions during her Master's program earned her the honor of being selected as the convocation speaker.

In her current role at King & Spalding, Lauryn represents lenders, finance agencies, and borrowers in structuring and negotiating domestic and international project financings and private equity transactions. Her experience includes working as a contributing writer and researcher at the Washington Post, a contributing writer at Skadden, and an associate at Norton Rose Fulbright.
