Julia holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from University College London. After graduating, she secured multiple full scholarships to top law schools, including a Dean's Scholarship at the University of Michigan Law School, where she completed her JD. During her time at Michigan, she served as a senior editor for the Michigan Law Journal of Law Reform.

After graduating, Julia served as a law clerk for a federal judge in the District of Nevada, where she researched, edited, read, and crafted dozens of published legal opinions. Since then, she has been living in Nevada, tutoring local and online students. Julia has also been working as a freelance copyeditor and writer, assisting scholars, industry leaders, authors, and organizations in refining and publishing their written works with independent and major outlets alike.
