Meet the Panelists

Amir Wright
Stanford Law School

Amir Wright has competed at the highest levels of legal education and practice, and he has spent nearly a decade helping other students do the same.

Amir earned a BA in political science from UC Berkeley and a JD from Stanford Law School. At Stanford he served as Symposium Editor of the Stanford Law Review and was named a Public Interest Fellow. He funded his legal education by winning more than 12 law school scholarships, all through written applications. After law school he clerked for a federal judge and served on a presidential campaign’s national voter protection team.

Today Amir practices at a major law firm, handling investigations, SEC enforcement matters and regulatory compliance. He also brings nine years of coaching experience, including mentoring students through the Stanford Ernest Houston Johnson Scholars Program and the national Bridge Builders Esquire program. Students he has coached have been admitted to Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, NYU, Michigan, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Penn and Vanderbilt.
