Prior to law school, Teresa earned a Bachelor's degree in political science and pre-law from Brescia University, where she also worked as a philosophy, political science, and ethics tutor. She was awarded multiple competitive academic scholarships throughout college.
Teresa has served as a judicial intern in legal research and writing at Stetson University College of Law, a Conflict Resolution Director in education services, a grant writer and researcher for the She Is Foundation, and a graduate researcher in ethics and international policy at Johns Hopkins SAIS. She has also contributed to a standardized testing pilot program with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay.
