Prior to attending the University of Minnesota Law School, Solomon completed his Bachelor’s degree in history from George Washington University. Throughout his education, he has served as an executive board member for the National Lawyers Guild, the Black Law Student Association, and OutLaw at UMN.

Professionally, Solomon has worked in both politics and education for several years. He has held diverse roles, such as video game localizer, English tutor, and editor for an international law firm in Beijing.

Solomon’s passion for coaching is fueled by his desire to level the playing field for students new to the admissions gauntlet, including those from non-traditional backgrounds. As a first-generation law student, he relied on the guidance and support of friends who had experience working in higher education admissions or navigated the law school admissions process themselves. Now, he hopes to pay it forward.

As a former ESL teacher, Solomon excels at personal statement and resume editing.  Additionally, his years of teaching experience provide him with the skills necessary to help students break down the application process into manageable steps. He is dedicated to helping students overcome any barriers that may prevent them from realizing their potential by providing unparalleled support and guidance. Solomon’s cheerful spirit, coupled with his impressive resume, makes him an exceptional coach for aspiring law students.

In his free time, Solomon enjoys indulging in his love for baking, weight lifting, and community building.
