Prior to attending UCLA School of Law on an 80% Dean's Merit Scholarship, Shervin graduated with a Bachelor’s in history from UC Santa Barbara. At UCLA, he consistently ranked among the top 5% of his class and received awards for his exceptional performance in civil procedure, constitutional law, and business associations. He has served in summer positions at Fenwick & West and Latham & Watkins, two renowned national law firms.

During Shervin’s time at UCSB, he achieved the unique accomplishment of completing his undergraduate program in just three years. His academic journey included a minor in physics and the publication of an independent research paper in an undergraduate history journal. This paper delved into the intricate web of US foreign policy concerning Syria in the 1950s, highlighting the lasting repercussions of those policies.

Beyond his academic achievements, Shervin actively contributed to the UCLA community. He served as a managing editor for the UCLA Journal of Law & Tech, held the position of vice president in the UCLA Law and Entrepreneurship Association, and mentored aspiring law students through the UCLA Law Fellows Program.

Following his graduation, Shervin ventured into the finance sector as a financial analyst at Silicon Valley Bank. In this role, he contributed to an underwriting team specializing in debt capital markets for private equity sponsors within the life sciences industry. After finding great success in his own law school journey, he became passionate about the application process. He has developed a keen eye for identifying unique strategies to maximize the chance of success.

As a coach, Shervin has a deep understanding of how to transform seemingly weak parts of an application into highlights of a candidate's story. He believes that every potential law student possesses unique strengths that can be skillfully highlighted in their application. He also excels at helping students break down the application process into manageable steps while assisting them in highlighting their strengths. His ability to refine and enhance application materials has helped students gain admission into several prestigious schools, such as BU, USC, and UCLA. Shervin's unique combination of real-world experience, academic prowess, and deep-seated passion for coaching makes him a valuable asset to any hopeful law school applicant.

A fun fact about Shervin is that he recently authored his first fiction novel, a romance that echoes his parents' immigration journeys from Iran to the United States. This personal project showcases his storytelling abilities and his capacity to draw on personal experiences to create compelling narratives—a skill that also benefits his work with students preparing their law school applications.
