Paul completed his Bachelor’s degree in philosophy with a minor in theater studies from Duke University. While at Duke, he was awarded the Frank T. McCloy Scholarship and the Benenson Award in the Arts for his outstanding research project. He became a full-time tutor and small-group course instructor after graduating. He has over five years of LSAT and GRE tutoring experience, helping hundreds of students excel on their exams.

Paul understands how frustrating the test prep process can be and wants students to know that, while everyone’s journey is unique, the LSAT and GRE  are ultimately learnable. As a tutor, Paul takes a structured, hands-on approach, guiding students through a clear, step-by-step preparation method for the GRE and LSAT. His three-phase system has helped multiple students score in the 99th percentile, combining analytical, logic-driven strategies with creative, out-of-the-box techniques to ensure mastery of every section.

Additionally, Paul is an expert in all areas of the GRE, LSAT, and LSAT Writing and adapts his teaching style to each student’s needs, balancing flexibility with goal-oriented efficiency. He believes that thorough preparation is key to building confidence and excelling on test day. Whether students want to brush up a particular section or start their prep journey from scratch, Paul is looking forward to working with law applicants ready to ace the LSAT or GRE.
