Monica Saavedra

At Syracuse, Monica consistently earned placement on the Dean’s List, reflecting her strong academic foundation. She was awarded scholarships at both law school and in her LLM program. Monica discovered her passion for mentorship and teaching in college, where she supported students in a wide range of subject areas. After her own success on the LSAT, she expanded into specialized test preparation, guiding aspiring law students with strategies tailored for high performance. Currently, Monica works at the NYC Law Department in commercial real estate and litigation, and her legal interests span real estate, environmental, and consumer protection law.

As an LSAT tutor, Monica is known for her strategic, detail-oriented, and approachable teaching style. She helps students achieve impressive results, including LSAT score increases of up to 20 points and top scores of 174, as well as significant improvements on the MPRE. Her guidance extends beyond test prep, as she has helped students refine personal statements, secure scholarships, and strengthen resumes for competitive admissions.

Monica is passionate about mentorship and has volunteered extensively with literacy and mentorship initiatives for children, encouraging academic growth and confidence from an early age. She is dedicated to supporting students of diverse backgrounds.
