In addition to tutoring, John has completed legal work that reinforces the core skills he brings to LSAT instruction. His experience includes legal research and written analysis with the Government Accountability Project, along with earlier work as a legal assistant.
As an LSAT tutor, John’s strengths are clarity, structure, and strategy. He breaks down difficult concepts into manageable frameworks, tailors sessions to each student’s needs, and emphasizes pacing, question-type recognition, and decision-making under timed conditions. Students he has tutored have gained admission to top law schools, including the University of Virginia and Georgetown University Law Center.
John is especially passionate about helping students build confidence as they prepare for a demanding exam. With a combination of teaching experience and rigorous legal training, John is committed to helping students build confidence, improve their scores, and approach the LSAT with clarity and precision.
Outside of tutoring, John is an avid backpacker and especially enjoys section hiking the Appalachian Trail.
