Allison graduated with a Bachelor's in history and double minors in philosophy and theology. She received the Gold Key for History Award for having the highest GPA in her major and for her double thesis presentation. During her time at St. John’s, Allison was heavily involved in student life. She was a part of three active honor societies on campus and served as the Treasurer of the Philosophy Club.
Although Allison received multiple law school acceptances, she chose to pursue her passion for teaching, earning a Master's in special education from Touro University. She now works in the New York City Public School System, supporting children and young adults, and has gained valuable experience working with diverse learning styles.
Specializing in test preparation, Allison enjoys helping students secure competitive LSAT scores to gain admission to their top law schools and even earn full-ride scholarships. Students she has worked with have scored as high as 178 on the test and have been accepted to the New York University School of Law, New York Law School, St. John’s School of Law, and the Arizona State University College of Law, among others.
Allison’s strengths as a tutor come from her extensive experience working with students of all ages and varying learning styles. Her comprehensive background in education equips her with the skills to tailor her teaching methods to meet each student's unique needs. She is adept at identifying individual learning strengths and weaknesses and adjusting her approach accordingly, ensuring that every student can grasp the test material effectively.
In her free time, Allison enjoys writing music and playing instruments. She plays the 12-string guitar, six-string guitar, piano, mandolin, banjo, and ukulele!
