Before law school, Abby took a non-traditional path that shaped her approach to teaching and mentorship. After graduating from West Point, she served as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army for over five years. In that role, she led soldiers from across the country, and later worked as a refugee resettlement case manager and a multilingual tutor, helping families and students from around the world navigate new systems and succeed academically.
Abby has been tutoring since her time as a cadet at West Point, and brings the same dedication to her work with students preparing for the LSAT. She is adaptable and able to work with students on a non-traditional timeline. Abby understands that many are balancing the law school admissions process with work, family, and other responsibilities, and helps applicants build a study plan that fits their life.
A fun fact about Abby is that her seven-year-old son loves to join her on UConn Law's campus during his school breaks!
