



Professionally, Corey has held several prestigious positions, including externing at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, interning at the United States Federal District Courthouse Clerk’s Office, and serving as an assistant negotiator on the National Broadcast L'Oréal team. She specializes in investigations, with a focus on complex commercial litigation. She is dedicated to her pro bono work, which includes advocacy and legal efforts focused on disability rights, reproductive rights, and environmental justice.
Corey understands that the law school application process can be daunting for students and is passionate about making it as easy and manageable as possible. Students she has coached have been accepted to some of the nation’s top law schools, including NYU, Brooklyn Law, and Boston College.
With years of coaching experience, her approach involves guiding students through every step of the journey—from selecting school lists to finalizing applications. Her goal is to ensure the process is stress-free and tailored to each student's needs. As a coach, Corey excels at identifying students' strengths and breaking down the application process into manageable steps. She is adept at guiding applicants in submitting competitive and thorough applications, helping them realize their full potential.
In her spare time, Corey chases after her two toddlers, reads romantic comedies, and bakes.

After completing high school in Karachi, Pakistan, Leyla attended Cornell University. Subsequently, she worked as a legal assistant at a prestigious international law firm in Washington, D.C., before attending Columbia Law School with a scholarship. After graduating and passing the New York State Bar, Leyla worked as an attorney at Hogan Lovells in New York, a top 50 global law firm. After four years as an attorney, she left the corporate world to pursue both creative and public-spirited endeavors, such as admissions counseling. She has also served as an admissions reader at Cooper Union for the last four years.
Throughout Leyla's education and career, she has recruited, interviewed, and mentored students and interns. She has guided undergraduates and law students in pursuing their goals, advising them about academics, research, testing, and networking. As a counselor, Leyla loves working with students to help identify their skills, passions, and individual stories. Her personal background, education, and professional experience have provided her with a unique perspective on the law school application process.
A fun fact about Leyla is that, although she has never visited Los Angeles, she has always been an avid Lakers fan!


During law school, Norhan served as President of the Business and Law Association and worked in the Challenging the Consequences of Mass Incarceration Clinic. With a background in finance and consulting, followed by litigation at leading firms, she brings a strong foundation in corporate and securities law to her work as an admissions coach. Her legal career includes experience as an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC. Norhan has also litigated a broad range of commercial disputes in state and federal courts and conducted internal investigations on behalf of corporations. She has also maintained an active pro bono practice, including representing victims of domestic violence.
As an admissions coach, Norhan draws on her extensive knowledge to provide real-life perspectives for candidates. As the first in her family to attend college and law school in the U.S., Norhan understands the importance of having a guide throughout this competitive process. Norhan believes that law school opens doors for individuals who want to advocate for justice, drive change, and solve complex problems—she wants to help students achieve these goals. Norhan strives to help students find the most authentic ways to express why they want to pursue law and guide them through the process with clarity and confidence.
Outside of her professional life, Norhan enjoys hiking, snorkeling, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Skye and Poco.
