Sultan earned a BA in philosophy on a pre-law track at George Mason University before pursuing a Master of Science in cybersecurity at the University of Maine in Augusta. He then graduated with a JD from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Sultan is a Uniform Bar Exam expert with five years of tutoring experience, guiding numerous candidates through every stage of their exam preparation journey.

During law school, Sultan served as a teaching assistant, leading lectures, developing curriculum, and mentoring students in courses such as Torts, Professional Ethics, Contracts & Sales, and Constitutional Law. He was awarded the Beasley Scholarship by the admissions committee for his commitment to academic excellence. 

Professionally, Sultan has extensive experience serving as in-house counsel for tech companies, advising on complex cybersecurity issues, and teaching and mentoring students. He currently works for Postman as Commercial Counsel & AI Lead and has previously worked for Deloitte and the U.S. Department of Energy. Sultan’s work has been published in the Global Privacy Law Review, the Journal of Export Controls & Sanctions, and the National Security Commission on AI Report. He has a unique blend of expertise in law, cybersecurity, and higher education and is also interested in corporate law. 

Sultan has supported students in mastering the intricacies of the UBE by developing personalized study plans, delivering targeted content reviews, and providing strategic advice for tackling the MBE, MEE, and MPT sections. His tutoring ability has contributed to the success of many candidates, allowing test-takers to achieve high scores and pass on their first attempt. Sultan has helped test-takers increase their bar exam scores by an average of 8 points. 

A fun fact about Sultan is that he speaks four languages: English, Dari, Farsi, and Tajik.
