Lucy earned her JD from Cornell Law School and is a recipient of the Charles Evans Hughes Scholarship, the school’s most prestigious full-tuition scholarship. She achieved a top score on the LSAT and has been helping students reach their target scores for three years. Students she has tutored have been accepted to law schools at the University of Michigan, UC Davis, UC San Diego, and Boston College.

Before law school, Lucy graduated with a BA in political science from the University of Rochester and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious undergraduate honors society. Over the course of her legal education, she gained practical experience as a summer associate at a mid-sized business law firm in Western New York and completed a full-time internship at the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office.

During law school, Lucy also distinguished herself both academically and through her commitment to mentoring fellow students. She served as a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing, helping first-year students strengthen their legal writing and oral advocacy skills. She also worked as an academic peer advisor and tutored students in a range of first-year law school subjects. Her academic excellence was recognized with multiple awards, including the Marc E. and Lori A. Kasowitz Prize for Excellence in Legal Writing and Oral Advocacy, CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in both semesters of Legal Research and Writing and in Litigation Drafting, and the Myron C. Taylor Scholar Award for placing in the top 30% of her class after her second year. She also passed the New York Bar Exam.

As a coach, Lucy prides herself on creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and being honest about their progress. Students she has coached increase their LSAT scores by an average of 5 points, with numerous students achieving scores above 165.

Known for her patience and adaptability, Lucy is committed to helping each student find the explanation and approach that works best for them. She is passionate about supporting future law students through the LSAT because she understands both the difficulty of the test and the reality that it is not always an accurate measure of future success in the legal profession.
