Jordan graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University - Bloomington, where he majored in business. Following graduation, he worked as a management consultant. Jordan was accepted into several top-tier law schools, including the University of Virginia, Georgetown University, Duke University, Northwestern University, University of Texas-Austin, UCLA, University of Southern California, and Washington University in St. Louis. He decided to attend UCLA based on its location and ranking as the top school for entertainment law.
Along with interning at top companies in this sector, Jordan spent a semester interning at a boutique firm in Beverly Hills that represents actors, writers, and directors in talent negotiations. During his 2L summer, he also interned at Proskauer Rose, a preeminent sports law powerhouse. After graduation, he worked at Kirkland & Ellis in Los Angeles, focusing on corporate mergers and acquisitions in the entertainment space. He then transitioned to Sheppard Mullin, where he worked in their entertainment group.
Jordan’s mentoring approach centers on open communication and honesty, providing candid feedback to help students succeed in the application process. As a coach, he excels at helping students choose the perfect school that aligns with their career goals. Additionally, he is skilled at helping applicants understand and navigate the complexities of the law school admissions process, especially in the area of scholarship negotiations. He has a knack for breaking down the process into manageable steps, ensuring that applicants are fully equipped to present their best selves to top-tier law schools. Jordan is committed to his role as an admissions counselor and is always excited to work with new applicants and guide them toward their dream law school.
In his downtime, Jordan is a dedicated sports fan and an avid film and TV watcher. He is also a fan of BBQ and is gradually making his way through the top BBQ places in Austin.
