Alessandra graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science and chemistry before pursuing her JD at the Golden Gate University School of Law. She has several years of tutoring experience, supporting numerous students throughout their academic journey.

Alessandra had her first child during her second year of law school and graduated on the Dean's List. She also acted as managing editor and writer for the Environmental Law Journal and received certificates in family law, business law, and public interest law. Currently, she serves as a junior attorney for the Department of Social Services, handling diverse civil litigation and family law matters.

Alessandra took the UBE and passed with a score high enough to practice in all UBE jurisdictions. She also took the MPRE and passed with a score high enough to satisfy the requirement for all 50 states. Drawing from her own exam experience, she experimented with various study methods until she found the perfect combination. Now, she aims to guide students in discovering their optimal study strategies and reaching their goals.

As a tutor, Alessandra believes that preparing for the bar exam is an individualized process with many moving components, so she tailors her approach to each student. She is experienced with various study techniques, including memorization, active recall, repetition, mnemonics, the Feynman Technique, the Pomodoro Technique, practice testing, and more. Her experience writing for the Environmental Law Journal has also equipped her with strong attention to detail and a keen understanding of legal writing standards.

Beyond these exams’ substantive material, she offers support for the mental challenges associated with test preparation. As a full-time mother and legal professional, she understands the need for balance and has honed excellent time management skills and techniques to help students maximize their study time for optimal success.

A fun fact about Alessandra is that her favorite word is lackadaisical, and she uses it all the time!
