Colleen’s legal career began during law school with the DOJ, launching a two-decade tenure managing complex investigations and developing advanced analytical and writing skills. This background fueled a passion for working with students, leading to active involvement in recruiting and mentorship. Colleen then shifted to the private sector, applying her analytical and critical thinking skills to the field of strategic intelligence. While there, she developed a successful internship program for local college students interested in analysis and strategy, solidifying her commitment to guiding students through their application journeys.

As a counselor, Colleen brings a deep understanding of what makes an application stand out. Colleen's greatest strengths are rooted in many years of professional reading, writing, and editing, including drafting high-stakes assessments, preparing position papers, writing white papers, and compiling forecasting summaries based on industry-standard structured analytical techniques. This expertise translates into an unmatched ability to refine an applicant's written narratives.
