As Associate Dean for Student Affairs at CUNY School of Law and Union Theological Seminary, Yvette supported students academically, professionally, and personally. At Union, she also served as Assistant Director of Recruitment, giving her direct experience in application review and admissions outreach. She has advised students on character and fitness certification, guided them through bar admission, and contributed to institutional admissions strategy.

Yvette’s lengthy higher education journey includes a BA in international studies, culture, and communications from CUNY, an MA in sociology and applied social research from Queens College, and a JD with a focus in housing and community economic development from CUNY School of Law. Yvette also earned a Master of Divinity in psychiatry, religion, and social ethics from Union Theological Seminary, and EdD in higher education management from UPenn. She has also received multiple certifications in project management, business management, executive leadership, human rights & business consulting and others from the U.S. Institute of Diplomacy & Human Rights, the Management & Strategy Institute, Cornell University, and the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene. 

Beyond admissions and education, Yvette has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership as Chief Operating Officer of a housing and economic development organization and Executive Director of a residential shelter, where she managed multimillion-dollar budgets and mentored emerging leaders. She has chaired the Penn GSE Executive Doctorate Alumni Advisory Board, held leadership roles with University of Pennsylvania alumni associations, and provided pro bono coaching for nonprofit executives. In addition, she served for 15 years on the board of the Fair Housing Justice Center in New York City, including as Board Vice President, where she built partnerships that created internships and educational opportunities for law students and lawyers. 

While pursuing her MDiv, Yvette was selected as a Henry Luce Fellow in Indonesia, where she worked with academic and cross-cultural research centers to advance international collaboration and leadership development. More recently, Yvette’s thought leadership has been featured in preLaw Magazine and the New York State Bar Association’s Attorney Well-Being Report. She has also led workshops with the Law School Admission Council’s RISE initiative and received Outstanding Education Leadership and Teaching and Scholarship Trailblazer Awards.

As a coach and mentor, Yvette is known for a student-centered approach that helps applicants tell authentic and impactful stories, claim ownership of their admissions journey, and move through the process with clarity. Students Yvette has coached have been accepted to Columbia Law School, Fordham School of Law, New York Law School, and CUNY School of Law, among others.

Kolby offers a truly unique and powerful combination of legal acumen, educational expertise, and entrepreneurial drive. The first time he paused his professional career was to pursue global service as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mozambique, where he developed curriculum and trained primary school teachers. After graduating law school, he gained extensive experience in "big firm" civil litigation at Dickinson Wright/Mariscal Weeks on complex commercial civil litigation matters. Subsequently, he transitioned to focused individual indigent criminal defense at Granville Law, PLLC, where he is currently employed.

Additionally, Kolby’s entrepreneurial spirit shines through as the Founder of After Dinner Conversation, an award-winning nonprofit literary magazine serving over 150,000 readers monthly. He has also founded multiple other successful ventures, including a cross-platform app for civic reporting (Really Simple Reporting, LLC), a uniquely branded escape room (Escape Narrative, LLC) that was recognized as Phoenix New Times’ “Best of” 2019, and a patented athletic apparel line worn by top Ironman athletes (Tempe Ice Apparel, LLC). He was also an e-learning developer for various Fortune 500 Companies and a corporate trainer for Aetna Financial Services. Kolby’s public service also includes seven years on the Tempe City Council, where he oversaw budgets, set departmental priorities, and focused on infrastructure, neighborhoods, sustainability, and equal rights. 

A hallmark of Kolby's career is his passion for nurturing talent and guiding others through complex pathways. While in law school, he reviewed law school applications, and as an attorney, he has actively interviewed candidates for potential employment on behalf of the firm. Over the years, he has mentored hundreds of people. This hands-on experience provides him with invaluable insight into what makes an individual's profile compelling to top law schools.

Kolby’s extensive background in education, law, and business, coupled with his strong writing focus—evidenced by his literary magazine and various columns—enables him to deeply understand how to best position applicants’ unique strengths and aspirations. As a coach, he brings a structured and goal-oriented approach, helping students navigate each stage of the application process with clear plans and practical steps. His hands-on style means he guides students through brainstorming, drafting, and refining their application materials, ensuring every detail is thoughtful and intentional.

An avid runner, two-time Ironman finisher, and international traveler to over 55 countries, Kolby brings a disciplined, adventurous, and global perspective to every endeavor.

Prior to attending Cornell Law School, David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University with a dual concentration in history and biomedical ethics. He then worked for a large law firm in Washington, DC, for a year. Following his graduation from Cornell, he served in the United States Navy as a Judge Advocate for three years on active duty while stationed in Great Lakes, Illinois, and Newport, Rhode Island. Here, he was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal twice. He then worked as an attorney for the U.S. Immigration & Naturalization Service following his military service. After that, he practiced immigration law for over ten years.

After a long legal career, David transitioned into his true passion: higher education. He has helped students find engaging internships and post-graduation positions and assisted them with applications to top law schools. In addition to heading Northeastern’s pre-law office, he taught hundreds of international students in a professionalism and career readiness course designed to prepare them for working in the United States.

Following his work at the Northeastern University admissions office, David ran a program for student veterans at the University of Massachusetts Boston, helping them prepare and gain admittance to highly selective colleges. Having found his niche in providing one-on-one advising, he returned to his alma mater to work as an admissions specialist for the Brown University admission office. At Brown, he was responsible for evaluating thousands of applications and making recommendations to the admissions committee. He was also responsible for all merit scholarship reviews and has an in-depth understanding of what highly selective schools are looking for when making scholarship decisions.

As a coach, David takes a highly personalized approach to each student. He focuses on understanding their strengths, passions, and natural curiosities by asking about their dream job, how they see themselves practicing law, and what truly inspires them. He then thoughtfully considers the practical steps needed to achieve those goals, guiding students on the best paths forward. 

Known for his humor and practical advice, David expertly navigates the complexities of the law school application process, especially when crafting standout essays. His greatest strength lies in his intuitive ability to uncover the most compelling themes for each student’s application and identify the law schools that are the best fit for their profiles. David has helped over 300 students and graduates gain admission to T-6 and T-14 law schools, including Yale, UPenn, Duke, NYU, Cornell, and UCLA, as well as other prestigious institutions like Boston College, Boston University, George Washington, Emory, and Fordham.

Outside of work, David enjoys gardening, regional travel, and attending small-scale music, theater, and sporting events. He is a lifelong Red Sox fan and continues to follow the team closely. 

Kevin earned his BA in French and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating from Duke, he briefly worked in the legal field and later worked as a headhunter for a top legal recruitment company. He then transitioned into the field of international higher education, where he discovered his true passion for helping students achieve their educational goals. Before returning to Raleigh, Kevin lived in Hong Kong for over a decade, where he helped local and international students with applications to undergraduate, law, LLM, Master's, MBA, and other graduate programs. 

As a former admissions officer, Kevin has recruited candidates and reviewed applications from hundreds of students worldwide, providing him with unique insights into the admissions process. Students he has worked with have successfully gained admission to top law schools including Harvard, Georgetown, Duke, Northwestern, UC Berkeley, UChicago, Columbia, NYU, UVA, Boston College, and others.

As a coach, Kevin prioritizes a collaborative and personalized method. Recognizing that each student possesses unique strengths and aspirations, he dedicates time to thoroughly understanding their individual profiles. By taking time to get to know each student, he is able to guide them toward crafting an authentic application that truly reflects their personal journey and academic potential. His goal is to empower students by highlighting their distinct qualities and experiences, ensuring their application stands out in the competitive admissions landscape.

With years of admissions experience, Kevin brings a seasoned perspective to the application process. His legal education has sharpened his instincts for identifying compelling narratives that resonate with admissions committees. Joseph’s education journey began at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY), where he graduated with a BA in philosophy with Latin and departmental honors. While pursuing his JD at the University of Michigan Law School, Joseph was deeply engaged in academic, advocacy, and leadership activities. He served as a Senior Editor for the Michigan Business & Entrepreneurial Law Review, represented clients as a student attorney in both the Entrepreneurship and Workers’ Rights Clinics, and held leadership roles as Chief Social Chair of the Entrepreneurship & Law Association and Chair of the Black Law Students Association’s “Butch” Carpenter Committee. 

Joseph also served as President of the Society for Space Law and contributed to faculty governance as a member of the Law School Student Senate’s Faculty Hiring Committee. His achievements earned him prestigious honors, including the Dean’s Scholar merit scholarship, first place in the Alden J. “Butch” Carpenter Memorial Scholarship competition, and the Michigan Law TriWizard Tournament title.

At Michigan Ross, Joseph founded and co-led the Wolverine Esports & Gaming Association and participated in several professional organizations, including the Entrepreneur & Venture Capital Club, Black Business Students Association, Hispanic Students Association, and Tech Club. He was recognized as a Consortium Fellow, JumpStart Finance Fellow, and Zell Lurie Scholar twice, and received full-tuition support as an Alumni Board of Governors Scholar.

As a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree for his educational venture, Games that Matter, Joseph brings over a decade of experience across education, entrepreneurship, and advising. He has held roles at Google, Fidelity Investments, top venture capital and law firms, and was the youngest appointee to a public-sector executive council. Through his experiences, Joseph has honed critical skills such as effective communication and management, relationship building, complex problem solving, and functioning proficiently in fast-paced environments.

Joseph has extensive experience with graduate admissions consultancy and has helped students gain admission to the country’s top law schools—often with substantial scholarships. Students Joseph has coached have gained acceptance to numerous T-14 law schools, including Harvard University, UC Berkeley, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Michigan, Duke University, Columbia University, and NYU.

Having personally earned over $1 million in merit-based scholarships and fellowships, Joseph brings firsthand insight into maximizing financial aid and navigating elite admissions. His admissions work is especially focused on supporting unconventional applicants and first-generation students through the graduate school journey. 

Brian has extensive experience counseling students at all stages of the law school application process. During his time at Suffolk Law, Brian regularly met with students to advise them on writing their personal statements, compiling letters of recommendation, and writing optional essays. As a member of Suffolk University Law School’s admissions committee,  Brian analyzed 2,500+ applications and gained a deep understanding of what factors make applicants stand out. He has worked with students from diverse backgrounds and co-founded and co-ran the Suffolk Pre-Law Achievers Program.  This two-week pipeline program was designed to equip students from diverse and non-traditional backgrounds with the skills they need to create a successful law school application.

As a counselor, Brian’s approach centers on getting to know each student so he can help them understand how their individual experiences make them a unique law school candidate. Drawing on hundreds of student meetings, he helps applicants understand each step of the application process and how to leverage their past successes to compile a robust application. Brian’s passion for coaching comes from seeing students he met during the application process succeed in law school and go on to thrive in their legal careers.

John earned a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University before completing his JD at Brooklyn Law School, graduating summa cum laude on a full-ride scholarship. Serving on Cornell's admissions and administrative committees has given him insider tips on what law schools look for in successful applicants, and he uses this knowledge to guide students through every step of the application process. His expertise has helped students gain acceptance to top law schools, such as Columbia, NYU, Cornell, Georgetown, UC Berkeley, Duke, and UVA.

A former corporate attorney and retired member of both the New York and New Jersey State Bars, John's passion for counseling is evident in his dedication to providing personalized advice and support to each student. He enjoys drawing upon his considerable experience to guide students through the various aspects of the law school application process, including school selection, pre-law coursework and resume building, essay drafting, and interview preparation. His commitment to helping students succeed extends beyond the application process, as he continues to offer guidance and support throughout their law school journey.

One of John's key strengths is his ability to analyze and interpret law school statistical data as reported by law schools to the American Bar Association, US News & World Report, and other media outlets. This expertise enables him to provide students with knowledge of the competitive landscape of law school admissions and to help them identify schools that best align with their goals and qualifications.

When he's not advising students, John enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and gardening in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York State, where he lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their dog, Enzo.

Corie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated cum laude and was honored with the H. Hill Award in English Literature, one of the Berkeley English department’s highest honors. She received her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she served as an Editor of the Entertainment Law Review and also completed the school’s prestigious entertainment law program. As a law student, Corie was recognized twice for academic excellence as a Teaching Fellow, once in constitutional law and once in contracts. She began publishing academic research while still a student at UCLA, where a paper that she co-authored with a faculty member served as a springboard for her academic career.

After graduating, Corie began her extensive legal education journey. As Professor of Academic Theory and a Lecturer in Law, she first taught at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law before becoming a Legal Writing Professor at the University of Colorado’s Wolf Law School. As a professor, Corie’s passion has always been supporting law students to be the very best scholars and test-takers they can be. She has designed and taught courses focused on legal writing and analysis, as well as cross-disciplinary courses that integrated topics in property, constitutional law, and contracts. Her goal has always been bringing out the very best in students by developing a warm and supportive relationship while pushing them to realize peak performance. Her success in supporting students has helped some of them move from the bottom of the class to the very top. She knows precisely how powerful the right support at the right time can be, and she brings that expertise to each counseling session.

As an author, Corie has published numerous major academic articles, two books, several shorter works of fiction, and has contributed to anthologies and textbooks. Her writing has also been featured on NPR and nominated for the National Book Award and Katherine Anne Porter Prize for Fiction. She brings her profound understanding of and belief in the power of narrative to her work in admissions consulting. She knows that there is almost nothing more powerful than a good story, well told, and she applies that understanding to the application process. Corie uses her narrative mastery to support students ready to develop and deepen their personal stories in the service of their admissions materials.

Corie’s experience in working with students, especially in supporting them as writers and legal thinkers, gained her national, and in some cases, international recognition. She has published dozens of academic papers, spoken at conferences in many places in the United States and Europe, and even taught American legal writing as an invited exchange faculty member at the Université Paris Descartes. She has also served as faculty for the prestigious pre-law program run by the Council for Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO), a program focused on helping non-traditional and first-generation law students achieve their very best as first-year law students in law schools all around the country.

As a coach, Corie combines her in-depth knowledge of the admissions process with a strong commitment to helping students reach their full potential. She understands what it takes to stand out in a highly competitive admissions environment. While serving on the admissions committee at Wolf Law, she reviewed more than 1,000 applications, evaluating personal statements, writing samples, and overall profiles before making recommendations to the deans. Corie knows how to ask thoughtful, strategic questions to help applicants uncover their strengths, and she builds a supportive, collaborative relationship that encourages students to present their most compelling and authentic selves.

Ali began his higher education journey at Temple University, where he earned a BBA and was a member of the International Business Association and the Fox School of Business Association. At the Massachusetts School of Law, Ali served as the Co-Founder and President of the International Law Students Association Chapter. Before pursuing an ELLM, Ali obtained a Graduate Certificate in forensic accounting & fraud examination.

Ali has over a decade of experience in law, business, and finance. In addition to his admissions expertise, he has held senior roles in the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of the Army, and Department of the Navy, specializing in contracting, acquisitions, policy, program management, and intelligence. He also serves as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and holds certifications in contracting and program management. Ali has been awarded scholarships at both SNHU and Boston University in recognition of his academic excellence.

In addition to his role as an arbitrator, Ali is an Adjunct Professor at multiple universities in the U.S. and abroad, where he develops and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in business and law. He has also served on the University of Windsor’s Advisory Board, where he read and evaluated more than 100 applications in a decision-making capacity. 

As a counselor, Ali takes a structured yet flexible approach, helping students refine their applications through detail-oriented planning and goal-oriented strategies. His experience mentoring more than 100 students over the past decade has equipped him to provide effective support across all aspects of the admissions process.

Outside of his professional work, Ali is a member of the National Language Service Corps and is fluent in English and Arabic. He is passionate about youth mentorship, frequently coaching students in public speaking and professionalism.

Before attending law school, Max graduated from Iona University with a BA in international studies and philosophy. He also earned an MSC in social and cultural psychology from the London School of Economics. As a student at Notre Dame Law School, Max was involved in the Journal of International & Comparative Law, the Journal of College & University Law, and Moot Court International. 

Max returned to Notre Dame years after graduation to become the inaugural Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, where he helped enroll the most diverse entering classes in Notre Dame’s history. In partnership with the admissions office, he evaluated thousands of personal and diversity statements, revamped recruitment strategies, and launched initiatives that led to a 7% increase in minority enrollment and $17.1 million in new tuition revenue. While serving as Director, Max created signature initiatives like the Dean’s Initiative for Leadership and Scholarly Excellence—a pre-law pipeline offering financial support, mentorship, and academic preparation for historically excluded students. Max is also the host of The Welcome Table for Notre Dame, a podcast where he interviews educators, advocates, and students on law school admissions, equity, and belonging.

 Max’s admissions expertise is shaped by his broader legal career, which spans both civil rights and international advocacy. As a staff attorney with the ACLU of Florida, he led a team that successfully challenged the state’s anti-protest law, restoring constitutional protections for more than 21 million Floridians. He also worked as a litigation consultant in New Delhi, advising advocates before India’s Supreme Court on cases involving human rights abuses and systemic discrimination. Earlier in his career, Max prosecuted domestic violence cases in Chicago and represented clients in complex antitrust disputes.

As a coach, Max is known for his thoughtful and values-driven approach. He believes every applicant has a story worth telling—and he works closely with students to uncover their motivations, craft narratives that reflect their authenticity, and submit applications that stand out for both polish and heart. As an attorney, higher education leader, and seasoned admissions advisor who has dedicated his career to advancing justice, equity, and opportunity, Max is passionate about helping aspiring lawyers find their voices in the admissions process.

Outside of his work with students, Max serves on the board of Karuna USA, a nonprofit advancing human rights across the U.S. and South Asia, and finds grounding through meditation, travel, and exploring new cultures through food and language.

At Rice University, Oria was deeply involved in campus life, serving as Co-Director of the Rice African Student Association (RASA) Dance and participating in the inaugural Black Excellence Gala. Her academic achievements earned her the Sharon Stephens Brehm Undergraduate Psychology Scholarship, and she conducted research on diversity training myths as part of her undergraduate studies.

At Duke University, Oria served as External Vice President of the Texas Club Executive. During her 1L summer, Oria worked as a Summer Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright in Dallas, Texas, focusing on mergers & acquisitions and restructuring. She has also gained legal experience as an associate intern at Kirkland & Ellis and as an SEO law fellow at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.

Oria loves being able to help ease the stress that comes with the law school application process. She understands that many students feel overwhelmed by all the components and need more direction. She aims to provide more transparency about the process and share the resources, tips, and knowledge she has gained from her experience. 

Oria emphasizes that the rigorous nature of the admissions process reflects law schools' commitment to finding students who are ready to put in the necessary effort to succeed. She encourages students to view challenges as a normal part of the journey and celebrates every milestone, no matter how small, as each one is a step closer to their goals. As a coach, Oria ensures students make the most of their law school application experience by providing flexibility within a structured application timeline. She excels at helping students break down the application process into manageable steps, making it easier for them to tackle. She provides students with insight and support when unexpected obstacles arise throughout the application process by gathering and sharing resources with applicants and helping them communicate professionally with schools. She also loves helping students craft their personal statements and supplemental essays, providing feedback on structure, writing style, and technical errors. 

When Oria isn't coaching, she enjoys trying new fitness classes. 

At Boston College, Rachel received the Award for Clinical Excellence for her work with the school’s Innocence Clinic and has been published in the University of Hawaiʻi Law Review. Rachel has clerked for the Rhode Island Supreme Court, worked at Gutman, Mintz, Baker & Sonnenfeldt LLP, and is now the Founder and CEO of R.F. Woods Consulting. 

Rachel's educational experiences are invaluable to her, so she decided to use her talents to help others achieve their educational aspirations. She understands how overwhelming and anxiety-ridden the law school application process can be. She loves taking that burden away from applicants by breaking down the process to be more straightforward and understandable. Her goal as a coach is to reduce stress for applicants, allowing future law students to focus on highlighting their strengths and achieving their educational goals.

When working with applicants, Rachel strives to keep the mood light and the environment calm and relaxed. Once she has achieved a relaxed atmosphere and a student’s trust, she works to break down materials so the process is manageable, organized, and can be completed efficiently. Rachel’s greatest strengths as a coach include creating realistic timelines and helping students create standout personal statements and resumes. 

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys home organization, traveling to visit family, and spending time with her husband, daughters, and dog.

Talia has guided students to admission at many law schools, including the George Washington Law School, Boston University School of Law, New York Law School, Rutgers Law School, and others. She is fervent about mentoring students through the complex and competitive journey of applying to law school. She understands how difficult and confusing the admissions process can be, and is committed to making it more manageable by helping applicants stay organized and goal-oriented at each step. 

As a coach, Talia’s strength lies in her meticulous approach to personal statements, ensuring applicants find the perfect combination of precision and creativity. She believes in the importance of presenting an authentic and compelling narrative, and she helps students identify and highlight their unique strengths so that their individuality shines. 

In addition to her love of mentoring, Talia also brings her wide breadth of industry knowledge to the application process. Being well-versed in the challenges and expectations of the legal world, Talia knows what will make an applicant stand out as a prospective attorney.  

When she is not coaching, Talia enjoys becoming lost, whether it be in the trees of a solitary hike, other worlds of a deep television binge, or the intricacies of a complicated baking endeavor.

Prior to law school, Steph earned her Bachelor’s degree in political science and government from California State University, Long Beach, graduating summa cum laude. After graduating from law school, she worked as an associate at a family law firm in Beverly Hills, as an assistant supporting the head of television business affairs at the Creative Artists Agency, and as an attorney at Quill & Arrow. With a diverse professional background, Steph is interested in family, human rights, and civil rights law.

Steph's journey to law school was inspired by her deep-seated desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. As the first person in her family to attend law school, she embraced the challenge and worked diligently to understand the application process thoroughly. Now, she leverages these insights to effectively guide and support others on their journey to law school.

Combining her extensive knowledge of the law school application and her passion for helping others, Steph is adept at breaking down this challenging yet exciting process into manageable steps. With her compassionate guidance and unwavering support, she supports students to embark on this transformative journey with confidence, knowing they have a trusted ally by their side every step of the way.

When she is not lawyering or helping future lawyers apply to law school, Steph enjoys watching films, doing hot yoga, and film photography.

Her experience has given Ashari great insight into pro bono criminal defense and policy work, litigation, and white-collar investigations. Ashari actively engages in pro bono legal initiatives and was very involved within the Duke community. She served as the Director of Finance within the Black Law Students Association, the Academic Director of First Class, a Case Manager and Social Media Coordinator for the Innocence Project, and contributed to several pro bono projects and initiatives. Her work and contributions reflect her commitment to using the law to drive positive change. 

Ashari is passionate about coaching applicants because she enjoys helping them gain the upper hand in the law school process, something she felt she did not have as a first-generation student. Now, she’s dedicated to providing counseling to students to make the process less overwhelming and more manageable. Students Ashari has coached have been accepted to law schools at Wake Forest University, the University of Georgia, and the University of Illinois.

As a coach, Ashari’s greatest strength is her own unconventional background. She wasn't the typical law school applicant and brings this unique perspective to her coaching, understanding that each student’s journey is different and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Troy has a Bachelor’s degree in ethics, politics, and economics from Yale University and a JD from Harvard Law School. After graduating from Yale, Troy taught math and science in the Mississippi Delta with Teach for America. Afterward, they pursued their passion for supporting socioeconomic equality through summer positions at the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau while attending Harvard Law. At the same time, Troy kept up their interest in education by consulting for standardized test designers. 

With a wealth of experience in coaching and tutoring, Troy expertly guides students through every step of the application process. Having worked with hundreds of students, they are dedicated to cultivating individual growth and empowering each student to reach their full potential.

As a dedicated coach, Troy excels at guiding students through the intricate law school admissions process. They provide invaluable support in navigating its complexities and streamlining the process to alleviate student stress. Troy works closely with each student to help them present their best selves to top-tier law schools, ensuring they effectively highlight their unique strengths, experiences, and aspirations.

When Troy isn't coaching, they enjoy exploring their vast knowledge of coffee, cocktails, and Japanese denim. They also have a background in streaming on Twitch, where they were a speedrunner for the cult indie game Crypt of the Necrodancer. In addition, Troy is the proud owner of a tortoiseshell cat named Demerara.

Krystle’s academic journey began at Arizona State University, where she graduated first in her class. She then earned her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, along with a business and public policy certificate from the Wharton School of Business. Committed to broadening her global perspective, she pursued an MBA from Webster University through an immersive program that combined academic coursework with hands-on business experience across Europe and Asia. She has been awarded numerous scholarships throughout her academic journey, including the University of Pennsylvania Dean's Merit Scholarship and Ford Motor Company Honors Scholarship. 

After law school, Krystle worked in Big Law in New York and California. She founded CIMI Ventures, a law firm dedicated to helping diverse clients, from nonprofits to multi-billion-dollar companies, grow. Krystle is deeply committed to serving as a community leader. She frequently speaks on topics related to law, business, and strategy and enjoys mentoring students as they explore how to maximize their advanced degrees. Krystle has consistently coached students with their academic growth through her roles as a University of Pennsylvania alumni ambassador, adjunct professor, university business case competition judge, and mentor.

Additionally, Krystle has served as a Board Director for the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation, a Fellow with the World Affairs Council, an adjunct professor at Marymount California University, and Assistant General Counsel for the San Diego Padres (on secondment). She was also honored as a Cultural Ambassador through the City of London Arizona Education Trust (COLAET).  

One of Krystle’s greatest strengths as an admissions coach is her ability to connect with applicants on a personal level. She helps each candidate identify their unique strengths and craft compelling, authentic, and memorable essays. Passionate about life design, her approach to admissions consulting is holistic and student-centered. She understands that for students, an application is more than just a submission—it represents their future and is a major investment. Krystle has guided many students through evaluating factors such as school rankings, location, and cost to help them find their best fit. Students she has coached have been accepted to top law schools at USC, UChicago, Northwestern, Boston University, Columbia, NYU, Duke, UPenn, Vanderbilt, UT Austin, and Georgetown. She takes immense satisfaction in supporting students through this journey and celebrating their successes.

In her spare time, Krystle enjoys seeking adventure and volunteering with animal organizations. She managed to combine the two when she met her husband while volunteering at an animal shelter. They quickly bonded over their shared love of dogs and adrenaline-filled activities and jumped at the chance to go wing walking—standing on the wings of an in-flight plane before strapping in for aerial acrobatics—on their first real date. They now live in sunny Arizona with their beloved dog, Ginger.

Harriet earned a Bachelor's degree in finance with a minor in law and society from the University of Maryland, College Park. During college, Harriet studied business abroad in Vienna, Austria, held multiple leadership roles, and worked in the Education Abroad Office

While studying at Duke University School of Law, Harriet was involved in various organizations, including the International Law Society, Black Law Student Association, Women of Color Collective, and Competition Law Society. She also worked with the admissions office as a student representative, where she spoke with prospective students about the Duke community and connected applicants with current law students with similar interests. Additionally, she participated in the International Human Rights Clinic and Health Justice Clinic. 

As the first person in her family to attend law school in the U.S., Harriet is passionate about coaching others through the application process and leveraging her background, education, and professional experiences to guide students to their dream careers. She aims to share her knowledge and connections to help applicants submit successful applications and choose the right academic environment in which to thrive. 

Harriet recognizes that the law school application process involves numerous factors and choices. She excels at cost-benefit analyses of law schools and ensures students make informed choices that prioritize their goals. Harriet believes each candidate can create a competitive application when the process is broken into manageable steps. Students Harriet has coached have been accepted to top schools, including Duke, Northwestern, and UC Berkeley, among others. 

Harriet brings a wealth of expertise to her role as a coach for prospective law students. Known for her transparency, positivity, and ability to craft compelling narratives, she helps students create authentic personal statements that highlight their unique contributions to law schools and the broader legal community. Harriet also offers extensive guidance on law school applications, interview preparation, and navigating the legal profession with confidence and clarity.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Harriet enjoys exploring new cities, reading fantasy novels, and indulging in reality television.

Michael is a dedicated legal professional with a robust background in civil rights, criminal defense, post-conviction work, and higher education administration. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to student success and institutional integrity. He has developed behavioral intervention teams, prosecuted cases on behalf of universities, and managed social media platforms and day-to-day student affairs operations through his pipeline program. His legal expertise has been further honed through clerkships and legal assistant roles, where he conducted legal research, drafted motions, and provided defense strategies. Michael's accomplishments reflect his diligence, leadership, and passion for advancing education and legal justice.

As a coach, Michael prioritizes openness and honesty when sharing his professional insights, ensuring students understand the realities of their chosen path. His coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in transparency, as he believes that clear, candid guidance is essential for personal and professional growth. Michael encourages students to strive for excellence and push beyond their limits, helping them unlock their full potential. With his approachable demeanor, he connects with students on a personal level, meeting them where they are in their journey. From there, he provides tailored advice, valuable insights, and practical tools that empower them to make meaningful progress toward their goals.

In his free time, Michael enjoys reading, watching sports, spending time with family, visiting art and history museums, and investing in the stock market.

Ashley completed her undergraduate degree in English language and literature at Fairfield University in just three years, graduating summa cum laude with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She was the valedictorian of her class and earned the prestigious Bellarmine Medal, as well as recognition through the Magis Scholarship and Honors Program.

At Georgetown University Law Center, Ashley was named to the Pro Bono Honor Roll and served as a student ambassador. Since graduation, she has practiced as a construction litigation attorney. Ashley currently works as a seventh-year associate at Smith Currie Oles Law Firm, a top construction and government contracts firm. In addition to her impressive record, Ashley’s dedication and expertise in construction litigation have earned her quite a reputation, including being named among the "Ones to Watch" in Construction Litigation by Best Lawyers in America from 2022 to 2025.

With over 10 years of coaching experience, Ashley has been dedicated to supporting others academically, whether it be tutoring, editing papers, reviewing resumes, or helping with applications. She believes in the importance of helping individuals navigate challenging or uncharted territories. Recognizing the complexity of the law school application process, Ashley took on the role of a coach to become a reliable source of knowledge for applicants seeking answers, guidance, and support. Her goal is to empower future lawyers to succeed in finding a law school that aligns with their goals and values.

As a coach, Ashley's strengths include effective time management and helping students create schedules that are reasonable yet focused on achieving their goals. As an English major, she is also an excellent writer and editor. She expertly assists students in deconstructing essay topics, offering guidance on content selection and structuring, and refining their writing through thorough revisions. She ensures students can transform their initial drafts into polished pieces they are proud to put their names on.  

After graduating from UCSB with honors, Victoria gained considerable experience in the media and entertainment industry. While at USC, she served on the boards of the Entertainment Law Society, Music Law Society, and Black Law Students Association. Additionally, she gained practical experience within the entertainment industry working at Hello Sunshine, the Walt Disney Company, and Universal Music Group. Victoria is also an active volunteer at the non-profit organization California Lawyers for the Arts, which serves the creative arts community. 

Victoria has a passion for guiding prospective law students through the application process, stemming from her experience as the first in her family to attend law school. She understands the value of mentorship and its impact on a student's success, and she believes in the potential of every student to excel in the competitive world of law school admissions.

As a coach, Victoria excels at recognizing the unique qualities of each applicant. She has a knack for helping students express these qualities in their applications, allowing them to present their best selves to their dream schools. She excels at providing strategic guidance on the entire application process, from identifying optimal schools to crafting effective essays and building strong narratives. Victoria looks forward to offering her expertise and mentorship to students, guiding them as they fulfill their aspirations of pursuing legal careers. She aims to empower students to become the best versions of themselves and is excited about the possibilities each student brings to the table.

In her free time, Victoria indulges in her love of travel, music festivals, and exploring new culinary delights at different restaurants.

Jesse graduated magna cum laude from Emory with a Bachelor's in business administration with dual concentrations in information systems and operations management and marketing and Chinese language and literature. During college, he served as a pre-college admissions advisor and resident advisor through the Emory University Pre-College Program.

During law school, Jesse also acted as an admissions representative for the USC Gould School of Law Diversity Committee, in addition to his role as Co-President. His commitment to law and technology at USC led the Legal Technology Association to a third-place finish at the 2020 Los Angeles Global Legal Hackathon, where they pitched an idea for a mental health app for practicing attorneys and law firms. He was also a USC Merit Scholarship recipient.

In 2020, he published a novel titled "Underdog" about his law school experience, as well as the experiences of classmates, professors, law school deans, and startup founders within the USC Gould legal community. Jesse has a strong track record of supporting students in their writing processes, having tutored both undergraduate and graduate students across various subjects. Currently, Jessee works as an attorney at a mid-sized, New York-based defense firm, practicing in general liability and medical malpractice.

As an admissions coach, Jesse excels at providing comprehensive strategies for the admissions process. He helps students craft persuasive narratives, optimally structure their arguments, and leverage their unique qualities to make an impression on top-tier law schools. He is committed to helping students reach their goals and become part of the nation's elite legal community. Having faced and overcome the challenges of applying to law school himself, he understands the stress and pressure students experience and works diligently to give them the best chance of success.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Jesse loves spicy foods and is a dedicated gym-goer. He enjoys exploring his new home in New York City and is always open to meeting prospective students for a cup of coffee.

As an immigration attorney, Demi supports individuals, families, and businesses as they navigate the U.S. immigration process. She also has experience in humanitarian work, student support, and environmental resource management. Students Demi has coached have been accepted to law schools at institutions such as Georgetown University, UNC, the University of Arizona, and the University of Colorado, among others. 

Demi's passion for coaching is fueled by her personal journey, shaped by mentors who believed in her boundless potential and guided her toward success. Drawing from her tenure as a Senior Academic Advisor, Demi emphasizes the importance of diversity in shaping a vibrant student body, understanding that each candidate brings a unique blend of experiences and strengths to the table. As a first-generation lawyer, she also empathizes with the challenges of the application process and offers invaluable guidance to help students navigate it successfully. 

As a coach, Demi adeptly guides applicants to reflect on their experiences in a manner that brings out the best version of themselves without intruding on their personal journey. She skillfully assists them in articulating these insights effectively in their application materials. Leveraging her expertise as a coach and lawyer, Demi also equips applicants with the skills necessary to navigate the process of applying for internships and job opportunities during law school and throughout their professional careers. Her comprehensive approach ensures that applicants are well-prepared to seize opportunities and excel in their chosen paths.

In her free time, Demi enjoys trying any sushi that comes around the conveyor belt and traveling. Her first flight was to an international destination in Argentina. She is also a boba tea enthusiast with a personal goal of trying this delicious beverage in every city she visits.
