Amir has a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs from George Mason University and is a JD candidate at Columbia Law School. While at Columbia, Amir served as a Student Admissions Ambassador. Professionally, Amir has worked in politics and communications consulting for several years. Most recently, he worked at a policy and communications consulting firm where he wrote op-eds, strategic memos, press statements, and other written products for corporate and non-profit clients. 

As a first-generation student currently attending Columbia Law School, Amir has benefited from a network of coaches who supported him through the law school admissions process and believes that it is important to pay that benefit forward to students. Amir understands that navigating the admissions process can be challenging, especially for first-generation professionals. He is genuinely passionate about helping Juris students determine their strengths and meaningfully communicate who they are to admissions teams.

Amir’s greatest strength as a coach is helping candidates determine their strengths and communicate who they are to admissions teams. Additionally, he excels at personal statement and resume editing, interview preparation, and helping students with school selection. 

Amir has recently helped students gain admission into several top universities, such as Duke University, New York University, Columbia University, and Harvard University. 

When Amir isn’t coaching, he enjoys long-distance running, playing the alto sax, modern/hip-hop dance, and exploring jazz clubs in New York City. 

Troy has a Bachelor’s degree in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale University and a JD from Harvard Law School. He has nine years of experience coaching students through the LSAT and the JD admissions process. 

After graduating from Yale, Troy taught math and science in the Mississippi Delta with Teach For America (TFA). After TFA, Troy pursued his passion for supporting socioeconomic equality through summer positions at the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau while attending Harvard Law. At the same time, Troy kept up his interest in education by consulting for standardized test designers. 

Throughout his career, Troy has helped students gain admission to prestigious law schools such as Harvard, NYU, and Columbia. He has a wealth of experience coaching and tutoring students, developing curricula, and training dozens of LSAT tutors.

Troy is passionate about cultivating individuals and helping them reach their full potential. Troy has worked with hundreds of students from diverse backgrounds on academic coursework and test prep, including SSAT, SAT, GRE, and LSAT.

As a coach, Troy excels at guiding students through the law school admissions process. He assists students in navigating the complexities of the process, ensuring they present their best selves to top-tier law schools. Troy is excited to help Juris students reach their full potential!

When Troy isn't coaching, he enjoys exploring his vast knowledge of coffee, cocktails, and Japanese denim. He also has a background in streaming on Twitch, where he was a speedrunner for the cult indie game Crypt of the Necrodancer. In addition, Troy is the proud owner of a tortoiseshell cat named Demerara.

Tiffanie received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Detroit Mercy. She then pursued her JD at Wayne State University Law School. During her time in law school, Tiffanie acted as a Legislative Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives. She also participated in mentorship programs and continued to do so past graduation. With over 15 years of guiding prospective law schools on their journey, her students have gained acceptance to Florida State University, the University of Michigan Law, Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and many more. 

With a background in education, psychology, and law, Tiffanie excels at working with students, assessing their needs, and meeting them where they are. Tiffanie is here to provide the support that her students need. As an experienced attorney, she creates workable schedules encouraging work completion in manageable segments. Her background in psychology helps her assist Juris students in identifying their greatest strengths and how to manage their weaknesses. As an experienced educator, Tiffanie is familiar with creating a delicate balance between education, work, and our personal lives. Tiffanie advocates for her students and aims to help them reach their maximum potential. 

Tiffanie loves working with students who are excited about joining a field she is truly passionate about. Her understanding of the legal system has guided her throughout many aspects of her life, both professionally and personally. Tiffanie knows that the law school application process often causes a lot of anxiety for prospective law students. She aims to ease this anxiety by assisting Juris students in making choices that best suit their educational and professional goals. 

When she’s not coaching, Tiffanie enjoys spending time with her family hiking, gardening, doing water activities, traveling, and playing with their two dogs and four cats. She also enjoys live music and loves exploring the vibrant food scene in Ann Arbor.
