Calandra attained a Bachelor’s degree at Harvard University before completing her JD at Harvard Law. At only 20 years old, she was one of the youngest first-year JD students in her class. Before entering the public sector, she had extensive experience in the legal field, including clerking for the Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court, practicing at a large law firm in Washington, DC, and a boutique employment law firm in Atlanta. She currently works at her state’s attorney general office and spends her free time mentoring aspiring lawyers by offering invaluable guidance on the admissions process and strategic career planning.

As a coach, Calandra's primary goal is to assist students in getting into the best law schools. However, she seeks to accomplish much more for them, given that law school is one of the most significant commitments anyone can make. Calandra seeks to empower students to achieve success, happiness, and fulfillment in the increasingly competitive and ever-changing field of law. She believes that achieving these goals need not be a process of trial and error. Instead, Calandra helps students identify and articulate their personal and professional goals before strategizing to select the law schools that best align with those goals. 

Calandra’s passion for consulting is deeply rooted in her own career journey, including her admissions success and her struggles to find career satisfaction in the early stages of her profession. She believes her experience demonstrates the impact of well-thought-out applications and individualized career planning. Drawing on the lessons she’s learned, Calandra is driven to support students in reaching their goals while helping them avoid the common pitfalls that new lawyers often face.

Aside from her passion for law and guiding students, Calandra loves cats and Home Depot, and she'll be the first to admit she might be a bit obsessed with both!

Hannah is a graduate of Boston College, where she earned her BA in English and Political Science. She also holds a JD from the University of Michigan Law School. Hannah has been involved in the legal field for several years, starting as a corporate paralegal before transitioning into law school.

Hannah's passion for coaching applicants stems from her own experiences navigating the complex application process. Her background in English and creative writing has enabled her to effectively assist applicants in crafting compelling narratives that highlight their strengths and potential. She has informally worked with family and friends to revise their application essays and has seen first-hand the transformational power of a well-crafted application.

As a coach, Hannah excels at helping applicants break down the application process into manageable steps. She is passionate about helping students find their unique voice and story to make their applications stand out. Hannah believes that having strong application essays was key to her college and law school acceptances and is dedicated to helping her students achieve the same success.

In addition to her passion for coaching, Hannah enjoys reading, playing the piano and guitar, and hiking in her free time. A fun fact about Hannah is that she had pet chickens growing up, giving her a unique perspective on the importance of nurturing potential, both in her poultry and her students.
